Skyroot to launch Vikram-1, India's first private orbital rocket, on July 18

This will be India's first attempt at a privately built orbital launch, a big step for the domestic space sector. Vikram-1 will carry a few tech demos and some artwork on its Agaman flight. If successful, it could open doors for more private players in India.
